On Dec. 16 at 9:15 p.m. ET, officers with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop for a headlight out at Skylane and Michigan Street.
The driver was later identified as James Morrison, 25, of Plymouth. Police say it was determined during the stop that Morrison had never had a driver’s license.
The Plymouth K9 officer and his partner Castor arrived on the scene, did a free air sniff of the vehicle, and had a positive alert on the vehicle. A search was conducted, and a THC vape pen was located under the passenger seat, where the passenger was later identified as Rebecca Carr, 21, of Plymouth, according to the report. Carr was long-formed, arrested, and released. Morrison was transported to Marshall County Jail and booked in for operator never licensed.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
