Several recent traffic stops conducted by officers from the Plymouth Police Department resulted in the arrest of drivers for various offenses.
On Nov. 28, officers initiated a traffic stop on a black Dodge Avenger traveling south on N. Fifth St. Police say the driver, Ruben Dario Alaniz Medina, 37, was found to be operating the vehicle without ever having obtained a driver’s license. Medina was transported to the Marshall County Jail.
On Nov. 28 at 8:41 p.m. ET, officers with the Plymouth Police Department assisted the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department in a traffic stop. The vehicle was stopped for disregarding a traffic control device at Michigan Street and Plymouth Goshen Trail, according to the report. The driver was identified as Roberto Pereira-Turino, 46, of Plymouth. Police say it was determined during the stop that Pereira-Turino had never had a driver’s license. The Plymouth officer took him into custody and transported him to Marshall County Jail, where he was booked in for operator never licensed.
On Nov. 29 at 1:33 p.m. ET, officers with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired plates. The vehicle pulled into Kroger’s parking lot. The driver was identified as Karia Carrion-Rodriguez, 37, of Plymouth. Carrion-Rodriguez was taken into custody for an operator never licensed, transported to Marshall County Jail, and booked in for an operator never licensed.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
