A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Marshall County and will be in effect through 1 a.m., Friday. The majority of this snow will come from lake effect, which adds a layer of unpredictability to this event.
The National Weather Service has put southern parts of the county in the 2″ area, while further north is expected to see more, as Bremen could receive 6″.
Wind gusts of 50 mph are possible, which would cause blowing snow and whiteout conditions at times. This could drop wind chills below 0 on Thursday morning.
