On Dec. 19 at 3:29 a.m. ET, Plymouth Police Department units were dispatched to a vehicle in the drainage ditch area behind the Kroger store and Council Drive.
Brittany Nicole Bryant-Richards, 29, of Plymouth was located in another vehicle that stopped to assist. Bryant-Richards admitted to being the driver, according to the report.
Police say Bryant-Richards was found to be intoxicated. She was transported to the hospital for a blood draw and then transported to the Marshall County Jail and lodged on the preliminary charge of operating while intoxicated with a BAC above .15%.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
