Juveniles Taken into Custody in Burglary Investigation

Plymouth Police units were dispatched to Park Side Mini-Mart on N. Michigan St. with a report that the front door glass had been smashed out and the suspects were possibly inside Tuesday, December 17 just before 11 p.m. ET.

Officers learned that a store employee arrived as the suspects fled the scene. Police say the store employee chased the suspects with his vehicle and struck one of the suspects.

The suspects fled into the Northgate Trailer park on foot. Plymouth Police officers and Marshall County deputies set up a perimeter. K-9 Castor tracked the suspects to the northwest of the trailer park where they were taken into custody.

The suspects were found to be juveniles. They were transported to the local ER for treatment and later released to the custody of a parent. This incident is being actively investigated.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
