On Friday, Dec. 6, at 2:52 p.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch received several calls regarding a two-vehicle accident in the 6700 block of Michigan Road.
Police say a northbound 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Wayne Upchurch Jr, 36, of Plymouth, crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2015 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Brianne Rhoads, 42, of Plymouth.
The collision sent both cars off the roadway with debris across Michigan Road. One of the drivers was transported to the hospital by EMS.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by LaPaz Fire and EMS, along with Reichert-Knepp Towing.
