On the morning of Nov. 11 at approximately 4 a.m., Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Pioneer Dr. and U.S. 30 for a vehicle sitting in the roadway with its headlights on.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver, Jason R. Northam, 39, of Plymouth. It was suspected that Northam was under the influence of alcohol. Police say he was found to have a BAC of .219.
Northam was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle with a BAC Of .15 or more.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
