An officer with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 1500 W. Harrison Street Wednesday, November 13 at 8:09 p.m. ET.
During the course of the investigation, Plymouth Police K-9 Officer Castor indicated to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle, Victoria N. Anderson, 24, of Plymouth, was taken into custody.
Police say it was also later discovered that the suspected substance in her possession yielded a positive field test for Fentanyl.
Anderson was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked and lodged on preliminary charges of obstruction of justice, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of cocaine and/or a narcotic drug.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
