Two people were arrested Sunday, October 27 by Plymouth Police Department officers for operating a vehicle without a license.
A traffic stop was conducted on U.S. 30 near Pioneer Drive after the vehicle was found to be driving at excessive speeds at 12:30 a.m. ET.
The driver was identified as Jesus Orona-Lares, 43, of Chicago. Orona-Lares was found to have never received a license with a prior conviction. Orona-Lares was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operator never licensed with a prior.
Later that morning, at 6:15 a.m. ET, a Plymouth Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an issue with the registration.
After making contact with the driver, Eduardo Lara-Caballero, 19, of Bremen, it was learned that he had never been issued a valid driver’s license.
Lara-Caballero was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operator never licensed.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
