A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy Matt Geiger stopped a black Honda Civic for speeding on Michigan Road in the area of 5D Road on Wednesday, Oct. 16 just after 10 p.m. ET.
During the stop, the deputy identified drug paraphernalia in plain view and later located marijuana in the vehicle, according to the report. The driver, Hector Colon, 27, of Plymouth, was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail for processing. He was charged and booked on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
