Officers with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Western Avenue north of North Street for speeding 48 mph in a 35-mph zone Wednesday, October 2 just before 7 p.m. ET.
The driver was later identified as Tristan Hernandez-Galindo, 21, of Miami. It was determined during the traffic stop that he had never had a driver’s license.
Hernandez-Galindo was placed under arrest for operator never licensed. It was also determined that he was entered as a missing person from Miami.
Hernandez-Galindo was transported to Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operator never licensed.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
