Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Union Road Friday, October 4 at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Upon arrival, a K-9 Deputy made contact with the two drivers. Police say the driver suspected to be at fault was identified as 71-year-old Bobby Dominiack who was reportedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. Dominiack was transported to a regional hospital for treatment and a certified chemical test.
The other driver, who was not identified in the release, was transported to the local hospital.
Upon obtaining treatment, a certified chemical test, and jail clearance, Dominiack was then transported to the Marshall County Jail and was booked on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated while endangering a person.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
