During the last several months ,Officer Vinson and K-9 Castor have been conducting periodic K-9 drug searches at the Plymouth Public Library at the request of library staff.
These searches are performed to check for any narcotics that may have been left behind or hidden in the library.
The library staff has also allowed the K-9 unit and Plymouth officers to use the facility for training purposes.
The periodic searches will continue to be conducted as requested. Police are making a continued effort to keep public facilities safe.
