Driving while Suspended

A Plymouth Police officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with no tail lights Thursday, October 3 at 1:05 a.m. ET.

After an investigation, it was determined that the driver, Diego Rafael Cortes, 26, had never been issued a valid driver’s license and also had a 5-year suspension out of Wisconsin.

Cortes was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on preliminary charges of driving while suspended with a prior conviction, as well as operator never licensed with a previous conviction.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
