A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy was on routine patrol in the area of S.R. 17 and Sycamore Rd. Sunday, October 27 just before 2 a.m. ET and located a vehicle on the north side of the intersection that appeared to have been involved in a collision.
Deputies investigated the scene and the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision was identified as 31-year-old Dakota S. Lamberson. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Lamberson was intoxicated, according to the report.
He was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated, endangering, and operating while intoxicated above .015.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
