Car, Motorcycle Fatal Accident

A car and motorcycle in Marshall County claimed the life of a Fort Wayne motorcycle driver.

Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call regarding a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 30 and Hawthorn Road Sunday, October 27 at 10:11 a.m. ET. Officers were notified that one of the vehicles involved was a motorcycle.


When Officers arrived on the scene,​ the driver of the 2019 Kawasaki ZR9 ​motorcycle,​ Seth Kuckuck, 34,​ of Fort Wayne,​ was pronounced dead.


The second driver involved,​ Linda Clevenger,​ 71, of Plymouth,​ was driving a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van and she was not injured in the collision.


Officers on scene were able to determine that the motorcycle was traveling east on U.S. 30, and the van,​ stopped at the stop sign, ​failed to yield to the traveling motorcycle before traveling north across U.S. 30, according to the report.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Marshall County Coroner’s Office,​ the Bourbon Police Department,​ and Plymouth Fire Department and EMS.
