The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members approved a street closure request made by Plymouth Fire Department Chief Steve Holm for an open house that will be held Saturday, October 12 as part of National Fire Prevention and Safety Week.
Pancakes will be available for a free will donation in any amount. Guests are invited to tour the fire station and the trucks. Educational literature pertaining to CO Detectors, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, exit drills and more will be available.
A portion of Center St. will be closed to accommodate the event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET.
