On the evening of Sept. 2 a Hacienda employee reported to the Plymouth Police Department that a male patron of the restaurant had walked up behind her and sexually battered her.
The male was later identified as Lee Swanson, 42, of Billings, Montana. Swanson was asked to leave the restaurant by management prior to law enforcement being notified.
The investigating officer was able to locate Swanson at Love’s Truck Stop, and after conducting an interview, took Swanson into custody. Swanson was lodged at the Marshall County Jail for felony sexual battery.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
