Property Damage Crash Brings Arrest

Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to Randolph and Baker Streets for a property damage crash Friday, August 30 at approximately 5 p.m. ET.

The officer on scene advised that a female driver had run into the barricade set up to keep traffic out of the Blueberry Festival. It was determined during the investigation that the driver, identified as 63-year-old Cynthia Johnson, of Goshen, had marijuana in the vehicle and admitted to smoking marijuana, according to the report.


Johnson was given field sobriety tests and given a certified blood draw. Johnson was transported to Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated controlled substance, operating while intoxicated endangerment, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
