A Fort Wayne driver was arrested August 29 after a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy stopped a white Jeep Cherokee on U.S. 30 at Elm Road due to the driver having a suspended license.
Police say the driver, Aaron Travis Tyree-Brown, 26, of Ft. Wayne, had also shown physical signs of impairment and agreed to field sobriety tests and a certified blood test.
It was found he had a blood alcohol content of .159%, according to the report. He was then taken to the Marshall County Jail for processing on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a previous conviction.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
