Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of an unknown accident at U.S. 31 and Veterans Parkway Saturday, August 31 at 9:33 p.m. ET.
Upon arriving on the scene Marshall County officers found a single-vehicle accident. The vehicle left the roadway and impacted the cable barrier in the median.
During the accident investigation, police say the driver, Tresh Ilyn Alberto Withey, 32, was found to be intoxicated. The driver was administered a certified test and found to have a BAC of .409, according to the report.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
