Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched twice to the Economy Inn within a short time frame for 911 calls Sunday, September 8 at midnight.
Both calls were reportedly placed by Jonathan Kemp, 26, of Plymouth. After an investigation, police determined that both calls were not made in an emergency situation.
Police say Kemp has a history of using 911 in non-emergency situations and has been issued warnings to stop. Kemp was transported and lodged into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of misuse of 911.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
