The Marshall County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau obtained information that Jeremy Swank was at a residence within the 13,000 block of Michigan Road.
Swank was located, arrested, and booked into the Marshall County Jail. The active arrest warrant was issued through Elkhart County, Indiana for Possession of Methamphetamine.
Additionally, a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy initiated a traffic stop Thursday, September 5 at 12:15 a.m. ET. During the investigation, the officer detected the odor of marijuana, and a probable cause to search of the vehicle was completed, according to the report. The officer reportedly located suspected marijuana, as well as synthetic urine. The driver, Lerone P. Harris, 44, of Elkhart, was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
