Habitual traffic offender arrest

While on routine patrol, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies stopped a vehicle that had a Habitual Traffic Violator status.

Talking with the driver, 49-year-old Kevin M. Hall, he reportedly said the vehicle belonged to his brother and also provided an ID card showing he was not the registered owner with the Habitual Traffic Violator status. After the stop ended, Marshall County Dispatch advised the deputy that the driver had similar pending cases in other counties for producing the wrong identification claiming to not be the registered owner.

Deputies were able to locate the driver who was the registered owner at the Pilot Truck Stop. The driver was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of driving with a Habitual Traffic Violator status, identity deception and false informing.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
