A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the area of U.S. 31 and 12th Road Friday, August 9 at 10 p.m. ET.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 41-year-old Sarah Wilson. Wilson was found to be operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, according to the report.
During the traffic stop, police say another occupant of the car provided false identification. The occupant was eventually identified as 24-year-old Demillion Alexander. Alexander was found to have an active warrant through Miami County.
Wilson and Alexander were transported to the Marshall County Jail. Wilson was booked on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. Alexander was booked on a preliminary charge of identity deception, false informing, and his active warrant.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Argos Police Department.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
