Suspicious Person Arrested

A Plymouth Police Department officer was conducting a follow-up investigation at the Red Rock Inn Friday, August 2 at 2:22 a.m. ET when he observed a man passed out at the wheel of a parked vehicle.


The officer checked on the man who was identified as Joseph Fansler, 23, of Lakeville, and observed suspected narcotics and paraphernalia on Fansler’s face and person, according to the report.


Fansler was awakened and found to be in possession of narcotics and legend drugs. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for jail clearance. Once cleared by medical staff, Fansler was lodged at the Marshall County Jail pending criminal charges of possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a legend drug, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, and public intoxication.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
