Plymouth Police Department units were dispatched to an area where a vehicle struck several mailboxes and a pole on Michigan Road north of Veterans Parkway Saturday, August 17.
Officers located the vehicle at Hoham and Michigan and conducted a traffic stop. During the subsequent investigation, police say Melissa Keller, 43, of Rochester, was found to be almost 4 times the legal limit. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
