Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were given information about a stolen U-Haul truck parked at the Economy Inn on Sunday, July 28 at 4:16 p.m. ET.
A U-Haul was found parked in the back of the Economy Inn. Marshall County Dispatch ran the plate and confirmed the vehicle was stolen from South Bend, according to the report.
The South Bend Police Department advised the suspect was Brandon Knox, of Walkerton. Officers made contact with Knox and arrested him. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of felony possession of stolen property.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
