Officers from the Plymouth Police Department recently responded to calls of intoxicated individuals.
Officers were dispatched to 600 Blue Ridge Trail Saturday, August 3 at 3:30 a.m. ET for a report of a highly intoxicated man. Police located Hector Manuel Fortin-Granados, 18 of Plymouth. Fortin-Granados was reportedly found to be highly intoxicated. He was taken to the hospital to be seen by medical staff and then transported to the Marshall County Jail. Fortin-Granados was booked on a preliminary charge of illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
In a separate incident, Officers located a man in Centennial Park Sunday, August 4 at 12:42 a.m. ET who was passed out on one of the picnic tables. The man was identified as Edward Rzepcynski and was reportedly found to be intoxicated. Rzepcynski was placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of public intoxication by alcohol.
Formal charges in each case will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
