Plymouth Police Department Make Several Arrests

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department made several arrests last week.

A Plymouth Police officer conducted a traffic stop Thursday, August 1 at 5:20 p.m. ET on Plymouth Goshen Trail. The driver of the vehicle, Rodney Flemmings, 54, of Plymouth, was found to have an active arrest warrant for domestic battery out of Elkhart County.


Flemmings was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail awaiting pick-up from Elkhart County.

Additionally, officers were called to the Family Express for two unrelated cases Friday, August 2 at 5:15 a.m. ET. Police had received a report of a man who was stating that his car keys had been stolen.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with Wilmer Gutierrez Garcia, 38, of Plymouth, who was arrested on preliminary charges operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more, and operator never licensed.

During the second investigation at that time, Adolfo Castro Luna, 25, of Plymouth, was reportedly found to be driving a vehicle despite never obtaining a valid driver’s license.


Castro Luna was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operator never licensed.

Formal charges will be determined in each case by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.


Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
