Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Educates Integrity Academy Students

Chip Dean with Integrity Academy of Martial Arts brought several children to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Thursday, July 25 for a tour with Sheriff Matthew Hassel along with presentations led by several law enforcement and correctional officers.

K-9 Handler and Deputy Blake Bennett and K-9 Handler and Deputy Alex Truty gave the K-9 presentation.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Hollopeter demonstrated the drone and how it is utilized by the Department.

Communications Supervisor Zach McGuigan led the children through a tour of the Marshall County 911 Central Dispatch Center and discussed various roles and responsibilities.

Officials say the children were excited to engage in this positive, educational experience that offered an opportunity for them to interact with local law enforcement.
