Suspicious Person Arrested

Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to a home in the 800 N. block of Fourth Street for a man who was believed to be attempting to break into a home at 4 a.m. ET Sunday, July 21.

When the first officer arrived on the scene, a man matching the reported description was located in the front yard of the home and identified as Erick A. Uzcategui-Nava, 22, of Plymouth.

He was identified by the victims in the home as the one who was allegedly punching and breaking windows around the home while yelling a female resident’s name. He reportedly lied to officers about his identity and circumstances leading up to the investigation. He was transported and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of intimidation, false informing, criminal mischief, and interfering with an officer’s investigation.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
