Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to an apartment at 1005 Lincolnway E. for a possible residential entry Wednesday, July 10 at 1 a.m. ET.
Upon arrival, police encountered a man attempting to leave the residence through the back door. The man was later identified as Jason McFarland, 40, of Plymouth. McFarland is known to Plymouth officers, and it was known that he was not supposed to be inside the residence, according to the report.
McFarland was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on preliminary charges of residential entry and resisting law enforcement.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
