The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members were updated by Plymouth Police Chief John Weir on the active shooter training conducted at the Plymouth High School Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23.

A two day training was held at Plymouth High School where 24 local law enforcement officers from agencies throughout Marshall County were instructed by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Ten officers from Plymouth, seven from Marshall County, three from Bremen, one from Culver Police Department, Argos Police Department, Bourbon Police Department and the Culver Community School District.

Three FBI agents conducted the training and three other FBI agents took the training alongside the officers from Marshall County.

Chief Weir wanted the training to benefit officers from across Marshall County because all of Marshall County will respond to an active shooter threat at any school.
