Marshall County Deputies were dispatched to the area of Michigan Road north of 4B road in Plymouth Sunday, July 21 at 3:38 a.m. ET for a report of a man and woman screaming at each other.
The complainant stated that the two individuals might be in the roadway because he could not see them. A Marshall County deputy arrived and located a woman walking southbound on Michigan.
Just north of the woman was a vehicle driving southbound on the shoulder. The driver, later identified as 26-year-old Isaiah Dunn, of Plymouth, approached the woman and the officers.
It was suspected that Dunn had been drinking. Police say Dunn was found to be intoxicated, and he was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
