A single-vehicle rollover accident in Marshall County Friday, July 5 resulted in an arrest.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Dispatch received a report of an accident in the area of Plymouth-LaPorte Trail south of Sage Road just before midnight. Marshall County deputies conducted a crash investigation that found that the driver and sole occupant showed signs of alcohol intoxication, according to the report.
Timothy E Ferrell, 38, of South Bend, was transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated endangering.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
