Plymouth Fire Department Firefighter and Paramedic John Kauffman was sworn in to service Thursday, July 11 in the Mayor’s Chambers.
Clerk-Treasurer Lynn Gorski administered the oath. Kauffman’s son, Izsak, pinned his father.
The oath was on the agenda for the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety meeting Monday, July 8, but Kauffman was unavailable to participate as he had CPR classes scheduled that evening. Fire Chief Steve Holm explained to the board that it was a communication error.
