Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety Hears Utilities Update

Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson updated the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety on several items during their regular meeting Monday evening.

Davidson updated the board that the Consumer Confidence Report is complete. Notices have been mailed to consumers with their utility bill which includes a link to access the full report online or they can fill out a form to request a paper copy of the report. The report can be found online at plymouthin.com.

As of Monday evening, 120 reports in English and 110 reports in Spanish have been accessed.

The board tentatively awarded two bids for the Water Improvement Projects; contingent upon the release of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) funds. Division One – Water Main Work was awarded to TGB Limited for their bid amount of $1,251,580. Division Two – Tower Renovations was awarded to O&J Coatings for their bid amount of $797,000.

Davidson informed the board that the water main flushing project would be complete as of Tuesday, June 25. One leak was discovered on Oakhill Avenue during the project which will be repaired Wednesday.
