A driver was arrested Thursday, June 20 after Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies initiated a traffic stop Thursday, June 20 at 4:42 p.m. ET for a moving violation on 4th Road near King Road.
During the investigation, officers discovered the driver of the vehicle, Phavel Ivan Mendoza, did not have a valid driver’s license, according to the report.
Mendoza was transported to and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
