A suspect was arrested after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call for an active domestic incident at a residence in the 16,000 block of 12th Road Sunday, June 23 at approximately 10:40 p.m. ET.
Upon arrival, officers located 35-year-old Jason M. Kersey in the residence. He was taken into custody without incident.
During the investigation, it was found that he allegedly battered a woman at this residence and displayed a knife during the altercation. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of domestic battery and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
