A Tippecanoe man lost his life in a single motorcycle accident in the area of Fir Road and 19B Road in Marshall County.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the scene Friday, May 24 at 1:08 p.m. ET.
Police say it was determined that Gary Miller, 73, of Tippecanoe had been riding his 2003 Harley XL8 north on Fir Road. For an unknown reason, Miller lost control of the motorcycle causing him to fall from the motorcycle and strike the roadway.
Miller was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Argos Police Department, Lutheran EMS, and Argos EMS.
