Plymouth Police Department officers were conducting a routine patrol when a red sedan reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign on North Plum and North Street Saturday, May 25. A traffic stop was conducted, and upon investigation, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle did not have a valid driver’s license and had never obtained one.
Juan Betanco-Vargas, 19, was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for operator never licensed.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
