A Plymouth woman was arrested after a Plymouth Police Department officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling north on Michigan Street near Skylane Drive for moving and equipment violations Friday, May 3.
The officer was able to initiate a traffic stop in the parking lot of Speedway Gas Station, where the driver of the vehicle was identified as Karen Turcios-Martinez, 31, of Plymouth. Police say Turcios-Martinez was determined to have never obtained a driver’s license, with a prior conviction, and was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
