Plymouth Police were dispatched to the 100 W. block of Jefferson Street Friday, May 24 for a report of a domestic dispute.
Police say a man called police who advised that he had been attacked by his wife and stepson.
While en route, police were notified that the stepson had called in and stated that his stepdad had attacked his mother, according to the report.
Upon arrival, police spoke with all parties involved and an investigation took place. After that investigation, Ronnie Norman, 45, of Plymouth, was taken into custody and booked on preliminary charges of strangulation, domestic battery, as well as an unrelated out-of-county warrant.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
