Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to the area of Taco Bell for a domestic dispute that was called in by an off-duty officer.
While officers were en route, they were advised that the vehicle had pulled into McDonald’s drive-thru, where officers located the parties.
A woman, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was seen by the off-duty officer allegedly hitting the male party that was driving the vehicle and causing him to drive all over the roadway and nearly hitting the off-duty officer’s vehicle.
The woman was later identified as Jennifer Sanderson, 48, of Monterey. Sanderson was placed under arrest for domestic battery and transported to Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
