A Plymouth Police Officer responded to the St. Joseph Hospital Wednesday, May 29 at 3:30 a.m. ET after Marshall County Central Dispatch received multiple 911 calls from a man identified as James Carlisle, 32, of Plymouth.
Police say Carlisle was not in need of medical attention and expressed he only wanted a ride. The responding officer took Carlisle into custody for misuse of 911 and when searching his person, found suspected methamphetamine and syringes, according to the report.
Carlisle was transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, misuse of 911, and public intoxication.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
