A Plymouth man was arrested Tuesday, April 16 after officers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to a residence on West Lake Avenue for a report of a domestic dispute.
Upon further investigation, police say it was determined that a battery had occurred. John Rehfus, 55, of Plymouth, was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
