A traffic stop Tuesday, April 2 in Marshall County ended with the arrest of the driver.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white 2008 Ford pickup truck in the parking lot of BP Gas Station on Walnut Street in Argos.
During the investigation, Marshall County K9 “Bear” assisted in conducting a free-air sniff around the vehicle. The K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, according to the report. Police say a probable cause search of the vehicle was completed and the officers located suspected marijuana products and paraphernalia.
The driver, Grifin P. Masterson, 28, was also reportedly found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
