The Plymouth Police Department arrested two people in two separate traffic stops over the weekend.
Officers with the Plymouth Police Department assisted Marshall County on a traffic stop Saturday, March 2 just before 10 p.m. ET at Michigan Street and Baker Street. A headlight was out on the vehicle which prompted the traffic stop.
The driver was later identified as Mario Dehilario-Tochimani, 31, of Plymouth.
During the investigation, police say it was determined that the driver had never had a driver’s license.
Plymouth officers took Dehilario-Tochimani into custody and transported him to Marshall County Jail where he faces a preliminary charge of operator never licensed.
In a separate incident, Plymouth officers conducted a traffic stop Sunday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. ET on N. Oak Dr. near Ritter Dr. for a traffic violation.
The driver identified as Ruben Rodriguez III, 33, of Plymouth, was found to have a license status as a habitual traffic violator, according to the report. Rodriguez was transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
