The Plymouth Common Council heard an update regarding One Marshall County from Attorney Jeff Houin.
He reminded the council that One Marshall County was formerly Marshall County Crossroads which facilitated Regional Stellar; so Stellar updates will continue under that agenda item.
One Stellar Project remains to be completed in the City of Plymouth which is the next phase of the Greenways Trail through River Park Square.
Park Superintendent Mike Hite is working on getting the most current documents on that progress; the most recent timeline is that bids are anticipated in the fall of 2024 with construction to start in the spring of 2025. That project is still moving forward.
Houin updated the council that a meeting was held on Thursday, February 15 between One Marshall County, the Marshall County Council, and several representatives from area municipalities.
He recommended that council members view that meeting which is archived on YouTube for more information and indicated that there are still some questions among certain entities across Marshall County.
According to Houin, the steering committee is attempting to meet with those individuals and continue to answer questions.
